Music has the undoubted power of composing emotional ventilation and restoring the mind to tranquillity. The value of music in an educational system has been generally recognised in the West and East alike where boys and girls are given a basic training in the rudiments of music at the school stage and in ancient India; students had to learn to chant the Vedic Hymns. DEI, Indo-African ensemble with best drummers from Africa and Asia showcasing the authentic rhythm and rhapsody was conceptualised in 2011 and have performed for Queen Elizabeth, George Bush and Barrack Obama.
