Dandiya has always been more than a dance. The colourful sticks, rhythmic movements and circle of dancers create a celebration that brings people together. Traditionally, Dandiya sticks are associated with the symbolic swords of Goddess Durga in her epic battle against the demon king Mahishasura.
But what if we could bring that familiar experience into a completely new world of sound, colour and technology?
Introducing Dandiya Night × Boomwhacker Glow — a fresh take on a traditional celebration where the familiar Dandiya sticks are replaced with glowing Boomwhackers.
Instead of simply striking wooden sticks, participants become part of a visual rhythm experience. Every movement creates colour, every beat becomes part of the music, and the dance floor transforms into a glowing celebration of rhythm and energy.
The concept keeps the spirit of Dandiya — togetherness, rhythm, movement and celebration — while introducing a modern interactive element that audiences may not have experienced before.
Imagine hundreds of glowing Boomwhackers moving together as a crowd dances to live percussion, DJ beats and energetic African drumming. The result is a spectacular fusion of Indian culture, contemporary entertainment and interactive percussion.
